Beach and Island Resorts
As well as year round sunshine, Malaysia offers some of the best beaches in the Far East. Favourite with honeymooners is the beautiful island of Langkawi, with a choice of quiet, resorts beside the turquoise blue waters of the Andaman Sea. Or choose lively Penang with its colourful night markets and the historic island capital of Georgetown.

On the east coast of Malaysia, the peaceful coastal region around Kuantan has stunning scenery and soft, silver sand beaches lapped by the warm waters of the South China Sea.

Kuala Lumpur
Malaysia’s capital of Kuala Lumpur, or KL as it is affectionately known, is well worth a stay at the beginning or end of your honeymoon. With a smart new monorail making it easy to get around, there is plenty to see and do, from the shops and street stalls of Chinatown to the flower scented bird and butterfly houses of the Lake Gardens.

For the adventurous, Kuala Lumpur is a great starting point for a few days self drive in the Cameron Highlands or even to Kuantan or Penang.

Borneo Wildlife
The Malaysian States of Sabah and Sarawak on the Island of Borneo contain some of the most amazing wildlife in the world. Visit the orang-utans in Sepilok or travel to Selingan Islands to see turtles laying their eggs on the beach. With its dense jungle interior fringed by soft, golden sand beach, Borneo is a great addition to a Malaysia honeymoon adventure.
